Terms of Service

This is an interim version pending the final Termly-generated Terms of Service. The custom clauses below are business-critical and will carry into the finalized version.

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your access to and use of Store Closure Watch (the “Service”), operated by Four Lights Analytics LLC. By subscribing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Subscription and Billing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis at the prices listed on our pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period.

3. Data Accuracy & No Warranty

The data is compiled from public and third-party sources including news reports, WARN notices, court dockets, and company announcements. It is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Closure events may change, be delayed, or be reversed after publication. You are responsible for independently verifying any record before relying on it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Four Lights Analytics LLC disclaims all liability for decisions made in reliance on the data.

4. Subscriber Data-Use License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the data for your own internal business purposes only. You may not:

  • resell, sublicense, republish, or redistribute the data;
  • use the data to train or fine-tune AI or machine-learning models;
  • perform automated extraction, scraping, or bulk export of the Service;
  • share your credentials or provide access to non-subscribers.

5. No Professional Advice

The Service is an information product. It does not constitute legal, financial, investment, real estate, or tax advice. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions based on the data.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the compiled dataset, site content, and branding, is owned by Four Lights Analytics LLC and protected by applicable law.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date above.
